Well-known for being the founder of the Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington is one of the most successful women in business. As well as revolutionising the way women in business are viewed, she is also an inspirational well-being advocate who inspires audiences everywhere she goes in her capacity as a mental health speaker.

Realising there was a gap in the market for a new digital news, commentary and blogging outlet, Arianna founded the Huffington Post in 2005. The website soon became hugely popular with users coming from all over the world to use it. In 2012 the site won a Pulitzer Prize making it the first commercially run outlet to be bestowed the journalistic honour.

Arianna left the business in 2016 and soon founded her latest venture, Thrive Global. Thrive offers solutions to stress and burnout that affects many businesspeople around the world. As part of its work, the company has launched two successful podcasts. The Thrive Global Podcast sees Arianna act as the host talking to guests such as Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry and Neil deGrasse Tyson to discuss how they find balance in their respective professions. The focus of Thrive Global is on the important of mental resilience and burnout in corporate environments, topics which have become essential for businesses to invest in, in recent years. In 2019 a second podcast was announced by the company – The Meditative Story Podcast. This podcast combines stories with mediation and music to relax listeners.

Born in Greece, Arianna showed her business acumen from an early age studying Economics at Cambridge University when she was just 16. Here she became the first-ever foreign and only third female president of the Cambridge Union. From here she published a number of books on women in business and society. As well as this she tried her hand at TV presenting with the BBC show Saturday Night at the Mill.

During her work as a mental health speaker, she can teach audiences the merits of her work and how to destress and focus on wellbeing. A sought after speaker for Fortune 500 companies, Arianne is a leader in the field of mental health in corporate environments. Able to transform the output of employees through resilience and improve wellbeing, Arianne’s talks have long-lasting impacts.
