Mitch Hutchcraft is a British adventurer, former Royal Marine, and highly regarded mental health speaker. Known for his dynamic and heartfelt presentations, Mitch shares deeply personal stories of resilience, endurance, and transformation. Drawing on his extreme physical challenges and mental health journey, he inspires audiences across the UK and beyond to confront adversity with courage and purpose. As a speaker, he brings authenticity, relatability, and a unique blend of military discipline and emotional openness that resonates with a wide range of listeners.

Mitch’s path to becoming a mental health advocate began early. At just 16, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro alone, a sign of the drive and determination that would define his future. After the sudden loss of his father at 20, he joined the Royal Marines, serving for six years in intense and often challenging conditions. Following his military career, Mitch sought to rediscover himself through adventure and endurance sport. He completed extreme challenges such as rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic and cycling 5,000 km across North America, all while confronting and openly discussing the emotional toll these journeys placed on his mental health.

His most ambitious feat came in 2024 with Project Limitless—a 240-day, 13,000 km triathlon from Dover to the summit of Mount Everest. Combining a Channel swim, a multi-country cycle, a 900 km run through India, and a final ascent to the world’s highest peak, Mitch completed what has been called the world’s longest triathlon. More than a physical challenge, the project raised over £500,000 for SAVSIM, a charity supporting both wildlife conservation and veterans’ mental health. Throughout the expedition, Mitch used his platform to highlight the importance of psychological resilience and the need to speak openly about mental struggles.

Organisations bring Mitch in not just for his incredible achievements, but for the way he communicates the emotional realities behind them. His talks go far beyond adventure; they explore grief, recovery, self-belief, and mental strength. Mitch is hired for his ability to connect, uplift, and motivate—making him a powerful presence at conferences, schools, corporate wellness events, and mental health awareness campaigns.
