Establishing a background in sports early on in her journey, Phillippa studied Human Movement Sports, Dance and Art at St. John’s College. This was followed by a master’s in Sports Science Performance Psychology at the University of Loughborough. After that, she began competing in Bobsleigh, eventually representing Great Britain, showcasing her ability to compete at a high level. Demonstrating her capacity to excel in sports, Phillippa later represented the South of England at the Sprint Hurdles. Moving on to her next challenge, Phillippa joined Manchester Metropolitan University as a Lecturer in Performance Psychology.

Outside of sports, Phillippa has also built a successful career in broadcasting. First beginning as a columnist for the Sunday Telegraph, she later became a presenter for the BBC, where she presented the Commonwealth Games. Phillippa went on to gain further TV credits on shows such as Northwest Tonight, West Country Live and Meridian Breakfast. Moreover, she was selected to co-host Live TV’s flagship programme Lie Detector. In 2007 Phillippa launched her dynamic coaching company Fresh Air Coaching, helping clients to achieve high performance in their businesses with her revolutionary techniques.
