“Rianna has demonstrated commendable advocacy work through her foundation”

Anthony Carmona, Former President of Trinidad & Tobago

“In my position as Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI), I met Rianna at the meeting of the Caribbean group of ADI. She founded the Dominica Dementia Foundation before she was even 20 years old, which is very exceptional. It shows her energy and passion for the cause, but also her leadership and communication skills as setting up a charity and
reaching out to the public is not so easy, especially not for a disease that many people are afraid of talking about. Besides, Rianna is a genuinely nice and trustworthy person that I strongly recommend”

Marc, Former Executive Director of Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI)

“Rianna gave a beautiful talk at the TEDx University of Kent 2018 conference. Her talk called “The Youth in You” was inspired by a touching personal experience Patterson faced when her grandfather passed away with Dementia in 2013. She showed great public speaking skills and kept the audience engaged while educating on dementia and how we can build a more supportive world for the elderly. It was great having Rianna as one of our speakers!”

Carolin, TEDx University of Kent

“Rianna’s work is an utter inspiration, she uses her boundless creativity to make a positive difference in people’s lives, – simply brilliant!”
